The Samantha catamaran, launched in 2026, offerscomfortable sailing. Depending on what you want to do and the weather, you can choose to lie on the nets at the front of the boat or sit inside on a sheltered seat. Our sailors have all theexperience and equipment to welcome you in complete safety .
At Sailcoop, we want you to have an unforgettable experience. You’ll have the opportunity to sail as closely as possible to the crew, talk to them and even help them with their manoeuvres! It’s sure to inspire young and old alike.
Our experience has been designed to be accessible to all. The catamaran Samantha can easily accommodate people with reduced mobility, pushchairs, families with young children, etc. She has toilets and a bar where you can enjoy locally-produced drinks and snacks.
Choosing Sailcoop to travel to the Glénan islands means opting for a low-carbon means of transport (90% less CO2 emissions than a motorised shuttle) that uses inexhaustible energy: the wind. It means choosing to slow down, to limit fine-particle emissions and the impact on the archipelago’s exceptional biodiversity.
Animals are prohibited in order to preserve the birds present on the island. Dogs, but more generally domestic animals, represent a real threat to the survival of several species (flora and fauna) on the Glénan archipelago, and have been identified as a factor with a high impact on ecological issues by the managers of the Saint-Nicolas des Glénan National Nature Reserve.
Our ships are all adapted to accommodate people with reduced mobility. However, the port facilities for embarkation and disembarkation are not necessarily. We recommend that you contact us before booking, so that we can give you all the information you need.
No. The island is only 1.5km2, so there’s no need for a bike. What’s more, there are no roads or tracks.
