A gentle, captivating experience

The sensation of the boat gliding over the surface of the water offers us a moment of peace, out of time. It’s the ideal time to reconnect with nature, enjoying the peace and quiet (without the sound of an engine), admiring the Breton landscape and watching the dolphins, which rarely hesitate to come and say hello.

You can just as easily decide to take advantage of this tranquillity by sitting on the nets at the front of the yacht, or by choosing to use this time to learn how to take part in the manoeuvres. The team spirit is very much alive on this type of transport. Skippers and sailors are always happy to share their knowledge. Sailcoop regularly organises biodiversity eventswith the Bretagne Vivante association. It’s an ideal opportunity to learn more about the flora and fauna that surround us.

Preserving the environment

Sailboats considerably reduce carbon emissions. More generally, they have less impact on the environment , as there is no noise pollution and no fuel spills into the water. Sailboats have fewer complex mechanical components than motorboats, which reduces the frequency of repairs and maintenance.

The rich biodiversity of the Glénan archipelago makes it a national nature reserve. Access to the archipelago by sailboat is the best way to respect it. It also offers an alternative for eco-conscious people wishing to explore the island of Saint Nicolas.

Sailcoop wants to pass on the values of respect for nature, responsibility andcommitment. And frankly, isn’t our boat beautiful?
